Civvies Train for the 'Frontline'

Members of the Territorial Army have recently deployed to Cyprus to endure some action packed training for the 'Frontline.'

108 members of the Royal Mercian and Lancastrian Yeomanry (RMLY), have recently been boosting their training in an effort to prepare for future tours of Afghanistan. The predominantly Midlands based soldiers, have endured the soaring heats of Cyprus, in Afghan like conditions, to prepare, should their services be required in 2012.

All of the Soldiers, who also have civilian jobs, take time away from home to train, so they can fulfil their vital role in boosting numbers on the ground in an operational theatre.

The Territorial Army, who have a good 35,000 soldiers, of varying cap-badges, are a vital role in todays modern warfare.
